"out of sync" errors in log, stuck messages, and consumer count increasing in qpid broker
Issue
- End JVM clients perceived slowness in the processing of messages in a queue
qpid-statshows abnormally many consumers of the queue- some messages are stuck in the queue
- client regularly logs "
AMQException: timed out waiting for sync" errors
What caused this and how can we prevent it from happening again?
