Why does local user face problem with their ID after creating ldap account?

Issue

zenoss has been installed on production machine(rhel 5.6), and zenoss user has been created here. zenoss is for managing and monitoring the server. It runs under the ownership of zenoss. The same user has been created on ldap directory structure. This has messed up when RHEL 5.6 came back online. Why?
