"Tunnel or SSL Forbidden" message when trying to pull logs or collect must-gather from Openshift Container Platform 4

  • In an OpenShift 4 cluster with proxy configured, the message "Tunnel or SSL Forbidden" appears when running must-gather or pulling logs from a pod:
[must-gather-klvsw] OUT gather logs unavailable: Get https://10.2.215.149:10250/containerLogs/openshift-must-gather-2ldlh/must-gather-klvsw/gather?follow=true: Tunnel or SSL Forbidden
