Keyboard focus issue: any character typed in any of the terminal windows sends output to a particular window

Issue

• Keyboard focus issue on a system for a particular user
• User logs in to the system

• Initially system works well

• After some time, all keypresses of printable characters are focused to one terminal.

• Clicking any of the terminals highlight that terminal, and carriage returns are registered by that terminal

• All other characters are registered in only one terminal.

• Problems is observed only with one user on one system.

• Rebooting the system temporarily resolves problem but it occurs again after some time
