HP Proliant server rebooted without any log entry

Issue

  • One of our servers crashed with-out any apparent reason. I can see no error in /var/log/messages. A view minutes later in /var/log/messages the reboot sequence starts. There is no crash dump produced in /var/crash.

  • HP ProLiant server
