Why are RHHI nodes still showing up as ‘Connected’ in ‘gluster peer status output’, When They are Rebooting?

Issue

  • While rebooting a RHHI node, the output of the command gluster peer status from any other node, shows the rebooting host as Connected.
  • How is this possible? Is there a way to force gluster to reflect the current status of the nodes during a reboot?
