Why qemu-kvm is crashing with error "virtio_scsi_ctx_check: Assertion `blk_get_aio_context(d->conf.blk) == s->ctx"
Issue
- VMs are using Virtio-SCSI disks and the
qemu-kvmis crashing with the error below while hot plugging/unplugging the disk.
virtio_scsi_ctx_check: Assertion `blk_get_aio_context(d->conf.blk) == s->ctx
- The issue is observed in the backup vendor's agent VMs in RHV where there will be lot of disk hot plugging/unplugging happening while doing the backup of VMs.
Environment
- Red Hat Virtualization 4.4.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2.
