JBoss executors' current-thread-count is not reflecting the number of threads currently active with tasks

Issue

  • We use executors for our JBoss web connectors. Even though load is stopped, we do not see current-thread-count for those executors drop. Why does it not drop when the threads are idling? We want to rely on it to determine if the pool is over utilized.
