vdsm commands return "Failed to get shared write lock"
Issue
- virtualization related commands may return
Failed to get shared "write" lockon image files while seems no hypervisor is using the image in question, as a result some VM may fail to start.
Environment
- RHEL 7, 8
- RHV
- image files backed on a NFS filesystem
- NetApp server
