Pacemaker action_timer_callback log message reports incorrect timeout

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • Pacemaker logged a message like the following to report a resource operation failure. But the actual time between when the resource operation began and when the failure was reported is longer than the time period in the log message. The message below says "20000ms", but it was logged 80000ms after the operation began.
Jul 11 17:09:13 fastvm-rhel-8-0-23 pacemaker-controld [5189] (action_timer_callback@controld_te_callbacks.c:700) error: Node fastvm-rhel-8-0-23 did not send start result (via controller) within 20000ms (action timeout plus cluster-delay)
