Periodic performance degradation. Kswapd seen in 'D' state.
Issue
- Periodically performance degradation (slow interactive response, job throughput taking longer than normal) is experienced. These episodes sometimes last for hours, then the performance gradually recovers to "normal".
- During these slowdowns, kswpad is frequently in 'D' state.
