Special (accented) characters in file are not displayed correctly
Issue
- We have mounted CIFS share from Windows system
- Accented characters in this file are not displayed properly in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- For Example : Word DEMANDé in the file is displayed as DEMAND while opened using
vieditor. - RHEL system is being accessed over ssh using
puttyon Windows.
