Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Jenkins `Pipeline` fails after upgrading cluster from `<=4.2.28` to `<=4.3.28`

Issue

  • Existing Jenkins pipeline fails after Red Hat OpenShift Container platform upgraded from <=4.2.28 to <=4.3.28.
  • Plugin dependency errors on the Jenkins Dashboard.
Dependency errors:
SSH Credentials Plugin (1.18.1)
Update required: Trilead API Plugin (1.0.4) to be updated to 1.0.5 or higher
Kubernetes Client API Plugin (4.8.0-1)
Update required: bouncycastle API Plugin (2.16.0) to be updated to 2.17 or higher
Some of the above failures also result in additional indirectly dependent plugins not being able to load.

Credentials Binding Plugin (1.19)

  • Post upgrade, cloud configuration got vanished from Manage Jenkins -> Manage Nodes and Clouds -> Configure Clouds.
