Why searching for systems in Red Hat Satellite 5.6 with external Oracle database does not return any results?
Issue
- Why searching for systems in Red Hat Satellite 5.6, for example using the search box in the upper right corner of the WebUI, does not return any results?
- Search functionnality no longer able to find
systemsanderrataafter upgrade to satellite 5.6 - Systems search via Satellite not working after upgrade from 5.4.1 to 5.6
- After upgrading our Satellite server from 5.4.1 to 5.6 we are no longer able to search for systems registered in the Satellite server. We are able to search for Errata, Packages, and Documentation but any system search returns zero results.
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 5.6.
spacewalk-searchversion 2.0.1-3.el6sat.- External Oracle database.
