A sybaseASE cluster resource fails its probe operation and logs an error about a nonexistent directory or script

Issue

  • An ocf:heartbeat:sybaseASE resource fails its probe operation, logging one of the the below errors:
    • ERROR: sybaseASE: The sybase_home '<path>' doesn't exist.
    • ERROR: sybaseASE: The file <path>/SYBASE.sh is required to run this script. Failed to run the script.
    • ERROR: sybaseASE: The directory '<path>' doesn't exist.
    • ERROR: sybaseASE: The file <path> doesn't exist. The sybase directory may be incorrect.
    • ERROR: sybaseASE: The interfaces file '<path>' doesn't exist.
  • A sybaseASE resource does not attempt to start.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (with the High Availability Add-on)
