JBoss ON interpreting quoted strings including spaces as multiple arguments when executing script server resources
Issue
- script server execution not passing quoted strings that include spaces as a single argument
- Arguments with messages having spaces, gives error
- Quoted strings including spaces in arguments in executed as multiple arguments
- Operation argument is split into multiple arguments at spaces
- Escaped spaces have no affect
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2
- Script management plug-in for JBoss ON
- Invoking the
Executeoperation on Script Server resource - Setting the
Argumentsproperty to a value that includes a string enclosed in quotes containing a space -- for example:arg1 "arg 2" arg3
