Session replication options don't appear to work when using database

Issue

In jboss-web.xml, the following settings are not being applied when using database to store web sessions:

   <replication-config>
      <replication-granularity>SESSION</replication-granularity>
      <snapshot-mode>INTERVAL</snapshot-mode>  
      <snapshot-interval>300000000</snapshot-interval>  
    </replication-config>
