APIcast threw timed out errors on AWS

Issue

  • My self-managed APIcast throws this error intermittently.
2020/05/26 14:22:24 [error] 26#26: *65379 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while connecting to upstream, client: 192.0.2.5, server: _, request: "POST /pd/help-desk/insert HTTP/1.1", subrequest: "/transactions/oauth_authrep.xml", upstream: "https://203.0.113.5:443/transactions/oauth_authrep.xml?service_token=xxxxxx&service_id=1&app_id=yyyy", host: "example.com:8080"
