Does Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO) requires a specific Database Collation?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • I need to verify if I can install with a version of Microsoft SQL Database with collation SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS.
  • I am having a new installation of RH SSO 7.5.2 with PostgreSQL 13.6. The DB is configured with UTF-8 encoding and I am wondering between C.UTF-8 and en-US or something else for collation. Does RH SSO requires specific DB collation (or case sensitivity) or can work with any DB collation? Any known issues with DB collations on PostgreSQL 13?

Environment

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO)
    • 7.X
