Fluentd is not able to read the pod logs when running on top of IBM Cloud

Issue

  • Fluentd pod is not able to read the pod logs when OCP is installed on IBM Cloud
  • Fluentd is giving error to read the pods logs when running on IBM Cloud like this:

    2020-05-19 10:24:02 -0500 [warn]: [container-input] /var/log/containers/dns-default-gvs8c_openshift-dns_dns-node-resolver-58a1f0c891c4636294084ada2e292bee54859f4a59223ecdec8d3b88bd19b4f1.log unreadable. It is excluded and would be examined next time.
    2020-05-19 10:24:02 -0500 [warn]: [container-input] /var/log/containers/redhat-operators-665844ff8c-vm6f7_openshift-marketplace_redhat-operators-8bf26629e4c1af44d469c4c57f3829c5e87c34ac4447400238b0553ea6443d99.log unreadable. It is excluded and would be examined next time.
