"transport endpoint is not connected" message in 'gluster volume heal info' output or glustershd.log

Issue

The error message "Transport endpoint is not connected" usually means a brick is offline or otherwise unable to communicate with gluster. Usually, these messages are seen in gluster volume status output. Occasionally, they are seen in gluster volume heal volname info output or in the healing log, glustershd.log.
