Satellite Repository Discovery for registry.redhat.io discovers no repositories

Issue

  • Entering the following parameters in the Repository Discovery menu in Satellite and pressing the "Discover" button, doesn't return any results:
    • Repository Type: Container Images
    • Registry to Discover: Red Hat Registry (registry.redhat.io)
    • Username: <valid username for registry>
    • Password: <valid password for registry>
    • Registry Search Parameter: leave blank, which defaults to *
