KDE Desktop theme changes after adding a desktop widged

Issue

  • We have an Plasma desktop theme issue.
  • Our default desktop theme is "Air"
  • The desktop theme setting however will change to empty when adding a widget to the desktop
  • To correct this issue, the user has to go to the "Desktop Settings - Plasma Desktop" and select "Air" again as theme
  • Can we prevent this from happening?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.3
  • KDE Desktop Environment
