Python exception occurs while trying to use 'fence_vmware_soap' fence agent

Issue

  • While trying to use the fence_vmware_soap agent in the cluster nodes, a Python exception occurs and following error messages are logged in /var/log/messages file:

    Sep 24 13:01:01 node1 abrt: detected unhandled Python exception in '/usr/sbin/fence_vmware_soap'
Sep 24 13:01:01 node1 abrtd: New client connected
Sep 24 13:01:01 node1 abrt-server[13102]: Saved Python crash dump of pid 13100 to /var/spool/abrt/pyhook-2013-09-24-13:01:01-13100
Sep 24 13:01:01 node1 abrtd: Directory 'pyhook-2013-09-24-13:01:01-13100' creation detected

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability Add Ons)
  • fence_vmware_soap fencing agent
