Need to allow multiple VLANs ID in provider Network

Solution In Progress - Updated -

  • In our Environment we are setting up New RHOSP 13 platform to migrate VMs from existing Virtualization platform. In Existing Virtualization platform, Multiple VLANs ID (like, 513, 101, 207, ....) are allowed in both Network Switch Uplink (Trunk Port) and on Server Physical NICs. Now need to do the same for Openstack Provider network.

  • For Example: We want to allow VLAN ID from "501" to "510", 623, 206, 310.

  • In controller Nodes "/etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini"

type_drivers = vxlan,flat,vlan
network_vlan_ranges=physnet1:501:510 , 623 , 206, 310
  • Is the the above configuration right ? If not what will be the right syntax ? How can we specify multiple ranges in network_vlan_ranges ? Is it supported ?
