My system is not detecting one of the lun that is configured for my application.

Environment

Red hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6)
- Observed on s390x architecture, but it is currently unknown if other architectures are affected.
- Observed on kernel-2.6.32-358.6.1.el6.s390x, but it is currently unknown of other kernels are affected.
Device-mapper-multipath
A previously-configured multipath device is missing, but other paths from the same SAN are present.
