Why 'from=' option in sshd authorized_keys file doesn't work for the hostname?
Issue
- For security reasons, admin use 'from=' option in sshd authorized_keys file to deny all the hosts (hostnames) except what is mentioned with this option, even if they have proper keys. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with CoreOS/RHEL8?
- This works fine up to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3. Then what has changed this behavior?
- Why 'from=
doesn't work but if we put it works?
