Log file rotation stopped working
Issue
- Log file is not properly rotating although it is configured and scheduled via
logrotateand cron. /var/log/messagesis no longer rotated.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7
- SELinux enforcing mode
- logrotate
- custom log locations
