Troubles with log.retentions and retentions.ms

Issue

  • We have been trying for several days to configure log retention in our AMQ Streams deployment. We have changed our kafka broker configuration (called my-cluster)
    by adding " log.retention.ms: 300000 " and "log.retention.check.interval.ms: 100000" in config - spec (as seen in official documentation) and it is not working properly.

    As well, we modified the topic yaml to add retention.ms: 300000 in config and it is not working either.

    If we create a new customer a few hours after the producer and topic were created, we receive all the topics from the beginning of the times, not caring at all about our
    retention policy of 5 minutes.
