Unable to import a specifc virtual machine from an export storage domain.

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Importing one of the guest VM from an export domain failing, In event logs a generic message logged.
Failed to import Vm <vm-name> to Data Center <data-center-name>,Cluster <cluster-name>
  • Although event log of failed vm import attempt is generic in engine.log file reason of failure is logged. its mac address conflict.
