During installation, how to wipe out first 1MB of a bad disk to clear out the partition table/MBR?
Issue
- There is a disk
/dev/sda
which contains some partitions and its required to wipe out the complete partition table as this machine needs to get re-installed. - How to make sure that disk contains no partition table and make it a raw disk for installation?
