How to migrate from CLVMD to HA-LVM with tagging in Red Hat High Avaiability cluster?
Issue
- We don't have a Resilient storage subscription so we cannot use CLVMD, how can we migrate HA-LVM to tagging variant?
- We were suggested to remove the CLVM package as this is not being used. Are there any specific steps on how to remove it? Can I just run:
# chkconfig clvmd off
# service stop clvmd
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5, 6, 7 (with the High Availability or Resilient Storage Add Ons)
- Rgmanager and Pacemaker
