Why files added via merge on subversion from foreign repositories lose properties?

Issue

  • While performing a foreign repository merge, new files added via the merge lose all their properties.

Resolution

  • This issue had been fixed and an errata has released for it.

Root Cause

  • Bugzilla #922718 has been filed to fix this issue.
  • Upstream bug Issue 3623 addresses the same issue and fix is available in the subversion-1.6.13
