Why does postgresql fail with '/var/lib/pgsql/data is missing' message in first time after reboot?
Issue
- After reboot,unable to start
postgresqland getting following message:
/var/lib/pgsql/data is missing. Use “service postgresql initdb” to initialize the cluster first.
[FAILED]
- On second service restart,it starts fine.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
