DNS PTR records are not created after installing a client with the ipa-client-install command on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
- When installing a client in an IPA environment with dynamic DNS and PTR record synchronization enabled, DNS PTR records are not created and the following error is returned:
timeout in ldap_pool_getconnection(): try to raise 'connections' parameter; potential deadlock?
Can not synchronize PTR record, ldapdb_rdatalist_get = 2
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- bind-dyndb-ldap-2.3-2.el6_4.1.x86_64 (with Dynamic DNS and PTR record synchronization enabled)
