syslogd not writing to /var/log/*
Issue
- syslogd not writing to /var/log/* . Checked lsof /var/log/* and syslog hasn't opened any of the files.
- Disabling SElinux and restarting syslogd has enabled logging. Confirmed with lsof /var/log/* and logger command.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
