Filebeat pods keep crashing
Issue
Third Party software Filebeat pods show CrashLoopBackOff or crash intermittently.
Error message in pod logs:
E1029 10:46:22.889366 1 runtime.go:73] Observed a panic: "invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference" (runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference)
Environment
- OpenShift Container Platform: 3.11
- FileBeat 7.4 and below
