Image pull during deployment fails with MITM proxy on OCP 4

Issue

  • Trying to pull an image during a new deployment fails when the environment is configured with MITM proxy
  • The ImageStream and ImageStreamTag are created without an issue (including metadata pulled from docker.io)

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
    • 4.2.10
