When using NFS on RHEL (any version) what is the difference between FS-Cache and Page Cache?

Issue

I thought NFS caching was not enabled by default in RHEL6, however it does seem as if the input file is NOT read from the NFS directly on each cycle when I don't manipulate the cache. Can you explain what's going on?
