How to collect metrics / statistics in RH-SSO

RH-SSO version 7.x does not provide any page with metrics or statistics about its own use. But using audit events two possible ideas can be used to collect some metrics. An audit event is an event that is produced when something happens in the product (user is updated, user logs in, password is changed,...).
