How to set Removal time from Stateful Session Bean?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

I'm using a Stateful Session Bean (SFSB) in order to do some processing on a data context along multiple client-server calls. Now I'm interested in the part recognition that the client died. First test in that direction pointed out, that the SSB is not affected if the client got killed (exits erroneous).

Is there the possibility to configure the SFSB so that it will get affected and removed if the corresponding client gets killed or do I have to do it manually in code? What is the best way to do it?
