Rapidly changing files under /proc/net/cdp are causing sosreport to fill up the file system in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
- When running
sosreport
, we ran out of disk space even when redirecting to a partition with 50GB available disk space using the--tmp-dir
option.

- The 100 line content of

is being repeatedly copied intoxxxxx-2013082807111377688264/proc/net/cdp/cache_dump_mib
.
