While using SAPInstance in cluster, is it possible to configure SAP and Oracle resources in separate services?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • The RHCS HA management console (Conga) does not support that SAP and Oracle to be configured and run separately.

    For example:

    • While configuring SAP Database resource, it requires the path for SAP Executable Directory, Path to Java SDK, J2EE Instance BootStrap Directory, J2EE Security Store Path. As these values belongs to SAP resource and has dependency for Oracle Resource Group.
  • Is it possible, supported to configure SAP and Oracle resources in separate services?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • SAP
