Satellite's packages.getPackage() API does not return base64 encoded data

The API documentation (https:///rhn/apidoc/handlers/PackagesHandler.jsp#getPackage) states that packages.getPackage() returns data base64 encoded, but actually it doesn't. It returns the raw binary data.
