We want to use ntpd without uninstalling chronyd
Issue
- In RHEL7, chronyd always takes precedence over ntpd with timedatectl command
if there are both NTP and chrony packages installed on the system. - ntpd would be the default time daemon considered by timedatectl command if chrony package is removed.
- Is there a way to keep using ntpd without uninstalling chrony package?
Environment
- RHEL 7.x
- ntpd
- chronyd
