Samba veto files ability for select directory paths.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • I have a directory structure wherein I'm using the samba veto files feature to disable access to a couple of directories
  • Is there any way to specifically veto a directory path instead of using a catchall directory name that will veto every directory with that name regardless of the path.
  • With this configuration, any directory that's named "testdir" will no longer be accessable unless I create a seperate samba share for it. It would be very helpful to be able to list a specify the path of the directory as well as the name.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • samba
