Issue

  • RHEV hypervisor is Non-Operational
  • abrt logs "detected unhandled Python exception" about vdsm into /var/log/messages
  • /var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log is not updated with any new information
  • Restarting vdsm with service vdsmd restart then checking with service vdsmd status shows the service is not running
