Force JBoss to use custom deploy folder ahead of "deploy" - while creating datasources from Admin Console

Issue

  • There are two deploy folders. One is provided by JBoss "deploy" and another one is custom created "apps".

  • While creating datasources through Admin Console, the "*-ds.xml" file gets created in "deploy" directory.

  • Is there a way to force JBoss to create it  in a custom directory ("apps" in this case)?

  • The most important part is the Jboss should automatically place any new DataSource configuration file inside "apps" directory as soon as we create a new DataSource from 'admin-console'
