Environment

• Red Hat Enterprise IdM 3.x
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

Issue

• Is memberof plugin enabled on IdM?
• We are trying to use Nested groups, however the memberof attribute is not visible on the user entry.

Resolution

• memberof plugin is enabled by default, this attribute is not returned for an anonymous search, configure the client to use a binddn (and bindpw) to read the memberof attribute from IdM.
