Should we run a production JBoss server with debugging turned on.

Issue

  • We are reported an issue during security scans of debug mode being enabled on the JBoss application server. This results in viewing of the complete stack trace in response headers in case of errors. Is there any configurations which can be done to handle this ?

  • Do you have any experience whit running JBoss EAP with JVM debug mode? How many performance penalty or overhead we mush pay?
    Sometimes we found some thread become a zombie thread. it stuck there for hours which is supposed to be finished in seconds and then we got CPU or memory issue. We want to kill or terminate such zombie thread
